5 DAY overnight delivery

<p>Early on Monday morning I engaged PostNet to collect my passport from a Pretoria Embassy and deliver it to PE (not my home, but to the Walmer Postnet) They assured me that they could and would, that the service was an overnight one and the cost R425. I thought that was exorbitant, but speed and safety were issues so I accepted and went away expecting delivery the next day. That overnight delivery turned out to be a 5 day delivery, without any excusable circumstances. The Embassy records show that they only came to pick up on Thursday morning – hence delivery to me on Friday morning. <br />I’m writing this because I feel that such carelessness and breach of promise should deserve, not just a flippant apology but also a reduced rate, if not a free service.</p>
