Petty behaviour

Bought a pair of jeans which had defective stitching on the left side and took it for a replacement. They found the size at a Plettenberg bay store but said that they would chargee a R60 courier fee. I think this is ******* to ask a customer to pay for a defect of your product. The employee called the manager who said that they won't cover the courier fee because the item from Plettenberg may be defective too! How rediculous, a large business like Poetry making a fuss over R60 because they carry defective items in their store. I told them to forget it and give me a refund. Petty and poor business etiquette for a regular customer. This will definitely affect my choice in buying from this store in future.
