****med by Poetry Online Sale

I got ****med by a **** Poetry Stores website through a paid ad on Instagram. The post advertised an 80% online sale. Everything looked legitimate and authentic on the website and there was nothing that suggested that the website was ****. I purchased items to the amount of R1800. When I did not receive the confirmation email, I called Poetry and they just dismissed me, saying it’s a **** and that they are aware of it. I then asked them why they have not notified their customers about the ****, they **** saying they have issued a notification on their socials. I then checked their socials and there was no notification or warning issued to customers. I then called back to ask whether Poetry would be accountable and issue me a refund since they are aware of the **** and they failed to notify their customers, they simply dismissed me and told me that they are unfortunately bot associated with the **** website and they cannot refund me. I am a loyal Poetry customer and I spend thousands of rands every month at their stores and I am completely disappointed and shattered that they could not assist me or show any empathy! I will never shop there ever again! A refund of R1800 is nothing compared to the fortune that I spend at their stores. I am so heartbroken.
