PMC ELECTRONICS' BAD BUSSINESS ETHIC

We purchased a Stay Cold Fridge from PMC, which was advertised as a second hand but fully refurbished fridge for R 6500.00. The delivery was done to our home (no charge, no one ever asked us to pay delivery fee). Upon plugging the fridge in on the same day it blew hot air and didn't work. We contacted PMC who then REFUSED to collect and fix the fridge of a day old and has an shocking bad attitude and just refused to assist. It was extremely difficult to get the fridge in our house and took 5 people, however after a letter to PMC the said they will give our money back but only if we bring the fridge to them. We do not have the transport or man power and costs of removal would be for our account. We were forces to get the fridge fixed by another company and paid a further R 2500.00 due to PMC refusing to assist in coming to our home to check what the problem was. It was the most shocking business encounter I have ever been involved in. PMC is a NO GO!!!!!! Do not buy anything from them. They also said in store it has a 4 moth guarantee and never mentioned they wont come to the house to fix the item. Later it became 1 month guarantee and then 3. PATHETIC!!!
