Learn to solve a problem

In the past year I have visited 2 different plumblink shops on different occassions. I do not know if the staff is unwilling to help or they can not think of solutions or they think they are doing the customer a favour. Yesterday I bought a fitting and it did not fit.Today I took it back and they told me you had to change your tap it is an old tap.I tried to explain that I want to connect my washing machine and it had 2 inlets and maybe I can buy like a stop to close off 1 inlet but I was cut off and were just told change your tap.Every problem has a solution.Learn to solve the problem you are the experts.
