Jhbplumber false advertising

False advertising - Prices are not cheap.

I had a leaking pipe on Saturday 23rd January 2021, I searched Google for a plumber in my area and JhbPlumber Johannesburg was the first name to come up. The team sent out to my property on Saturday took a total of thirty minutes to open the pipe up and put a clamp on the pipe. I closed the hole myself the next day as I wanted to make sure that it was not leaking. I was charged R3800.00 for the job, when I researched the cost of the clamp after discussing it with the company, I found the cost to be only R80.93. – NOT THE TWO THOUSAND RAND HE CLAIMED ON THE PHONE!! I included two pictures for their information, showing that the pipe was not deep and the type of clamp used in an email sent to them. However the email address provided proved to be false, they advertise that you are an Affordable Plumbing Solution and Cheap Prices - but this is a *******.

The header on the invoice was in the name of Plumlink Plumbing and they have their website as Jhbplumber.co.za as well as plumlink.co.za so it appears as if they hide behind a pseudo name, the fact that they gave me a false email address when I spoke to them on the phone, tells me that their business is not trustworthy otherwise they would stand behind their name!!!
