Bad Attitude

I will never support Plumblink ever again. My dad has recently passed away and as luck will have it there are leaking issues in my mom's house. My husband which is not a plumber but can do handy work offered to fix it. Been a pensioner she can't afford to splash out thousands of rands. My husband then went to Plumblink Newton Park with a sample of the PVC pipe he needed. The salesman recommended a whole lot of stuff including a copper pipe as it is better quality. My husband trusting the professionals input went along with it, paid and off he went. When he started the job, it all went downhill from there and after the whole days' work, trying different things and even contacting the salesman which didn't answer, he discovered that the pipe the salesman sold him was the wrong size! When going back to Plumblink and explaining all this while the salesman hid in the back, they were not interested at all. Didn't offer store credit or any sort of refund, even after explaining it is a pensioners money that they wasted! It is utterly disgusting that such a well known store treats customers like this. My husband then went to Build It Rowallen Park, which doesn't specialize in plumbing but the salesman man helped my husband 100% with no issues, and my husband had the job done within a hour!
