Pizza on demand
A few years back I was a regular customer with Pizza Perfect. Over time, orders were late, incomplete or incorrect and once all three hit me on a single delivery. What made this especially worse were a combination of personal problems, work issues and a sick child. My boy had to eat while I tended his sister. I lost it that day.
For months I refused to use their services or purchase any of their products. My kids nagged me to buy from then again due to the quality of their oven baked pizza. Obviously I refused after that dreadful event.
My wife begged me one evening. She was exhausted, me overworked and the kids in HYPERDRIVE. Not thrilled but I comp****. Over a period of a few months their products were purchased when insisted upon and gradually my opinion started to change. I noticed something.
During my "break in patronage" they started to turn it all around. Seems that they took my complaint (and others) seriously. That is something I am not accustomed to, especially by a fairly large franchise.
Despite my initial anger at them, not once did they treat me badly, called me names or threw me out, even though they recognised me. (it has happened at other places. I am not the friendliest person I know). Instead they made changes to improve their service. Subtle ones, but the changes that make a difference.
For a few months now, no more late deliveries, orders are correct and the food still still warm, delivery or collect. When we phone to place and order, staff are friendly and I find them efficient considering the volume they have to deal with especially at month end.
Thank you Pizza Perfect!!! May others follow your example.
