Pizza Hut Durbanville disgrace
Over the week end I decided to order dinner from PIZZA HUT DURBANVILLE. the time was roughly 18:45. I placed and paid the order online, received my confirmation email stating it would be delivered at 19:45.
19:45 came and gone.
Between 20:15 and 20:30 I have tried numerous calls to the store, but no answer.
The last call at 20:30 was luckily answered. I enquired about my order.
The response: "our driver was in a car accident and we are phoning clients to enlighten them about it".
Yet, when I asked about my online order I was mumbled to in her language. She then rudely told me that it has gone with another driver.
I could still accept that as an apology, but when the driver eventually showed up, the pizza was shoved in my hand.
I did not receive an apology from the driver, nor my tillslip and menu as they are supposed to hand to the customer.
To top it all, I had to microwave the pizza as it was cold, not tangy like it should be and the crust was revoltingly dry.
The counter staff are unprofessional and not taught well about telephone etiquette and manners. To be honest, super stupid. Pizza Hut South Africa must make plan to upt the service or they will lose clientel. Pizza Hut owners and employees must learn from their biggest rival, DEBONAIRS on how to successfully do business without being lazy and rude.
I shall rather stick to the tried and trusted and revert back to DEBONAIRS PIZZA. At least they receive the sufficient training and telephone etiquette and techniques to take down an order without having the customer repeat information multiple times.
PIZZA HUT SOUTH AFRICA:
You had better get people in your stores that have the ability to process a task, at least be computer literate and knowlegde of language.
