Pizza Hut Beach Road

Arriving late at my hotel in Port Elizabeth I saw someone with a pizza and just wanted one. Called the callcentre which was in Cape Town but finally got the branch sorted.

Call center agent said 35 minutes. It was a beautiful evening so I decided to wait on the beach while waiting for my order. 35 minutes passed and nothing but it was weekend so thought maybe busy afternoon. But 10 minutes later a lady from the branch calls to apologize.

They received the order late so they could not make the timeline. She was very sincere in that she was sorry but it would take 15 minutes more. I thanked her for the call and at least knew what was happening. She offered to give me something with the order which was unnecessary.

As promised 15 minutes later rider arrived with my order. Warm and pizza was good and would recommend spicy chicken.

Sure I was annoyed by the delay but I did appreciate being informed what was happening. Feedback is something you don't get or seldom get when deliveries are late from food outlets.
