PROLINE: ZERO AFTERSALES SERVICE

My initial contact was on 14 June 15 regarding a damaged screen (my fault) of my Proline U116T-W8P tablet. I requested information regarding the process for repairing my unit.

All went well till I inquired about an estimate on repair time and approximate cost.
I was informed about a 48 hour period, where the unit would be assessed at the Cape Town technical department. If parts were available the unit would be repaired.
22 June 15 was the last communication from Cape Town Technical. I was informed they do not carry parts for the unit in Cape Town, a parts eta would be given if available in Jhb, failing that, parts would be sourced overseas,
On 23 July 15 a follow-up as to parts eta went unanswered.

On 03 July 15. I e-mailed Rodger Green, Proline Computers General Manager with an appeal for assistance in finding a solution to my problem, needless to say, NO acknowledgement or response.

Subsequently the selling dealer commented \Pinnacle or Proline don't talk to customers".

I now have a R11k paperweight.

I STRONGLY ADVISE ANY POTENTIAL PROLINE/PINNACLE AFRICA CUSTOMER TO CONSIDER AN ALTERNATIVE BRAND"
