Wrong insurance terms
I am very disappointed with Pineapple insurance. When you take their insurance their terms say you can add a serial number as a proof of purchase. Suddenly no you need a proof of purchase but why do you upload pictures and they say approved and they start deducting premiums for the whole year I’ve been paying premiums for a phone that I just confirmed that in the event of a claim it won’t be approved if I don’t have proof of purchase. Imagine your get a phone as gift and later on your insurance it where going to get a proof of purchase.
I’ve had cellphone insurance with other insurers before and has never been the chase. I think it’s fair that I get my premiums back. How do they put wrong terms and conditions upon taking the Insurance??
I just cancelled my insurance because clearly I’m just wasting my money here. Before I cancelled I confirmed with one of the agents who told me as long as I have the IMEI number with the box and then later on he comes and says according to the claims department it has to be a till slip, invoice but why do you put on your website/app wrong information and even your agents have wrong information.
