Unpleasant experience with Pineapple

My honest rating of Pineapple is very poor and I don’t think I will ever want to be insured by them ever again and here is why.

1. I was insured with them for about 6 years or more. I logged a claim for one of my devices and it took 2 months to settle the claim and mind you I had to run around doing diagnostics on my broken phone; which I paid for myself then I was told I need to hand back the broken device because it was theirs now. 2. I immediately put all my other devices on ‘not insured’ because I was not happy with the entire process. This was early December. What happened end of December, they billed me for all devices as if I was still insured, this included the device I had already submitted a claim for in November. 3. They said, they will return my premiums; this was beginning of Jan; the entire month past and nothing; I followed up multiple times and I was being taken for a ride. The service I was getting for one of their consultant (Wandile) was poor; He kept on telling me, he is following up and will return to me; weeks passed and nothing; every time i reached out nothing. 4. In January my entire Policy was cancelled which I was aware of and understood; however on the last week of Feb; I received an sms telling me my Policy has been reinstated dating back to December 2024 and this was without my consent. I raised this but no one rep**** to me. 5. Today is month end and they’ve just deducted their premiums.

Terrible experience, Terrible service from the Consultant (Wandile); Overall I’m never dealing with them and I want this matter resolved and my money back.
