So called "Pineapple Insurance"

If I could make my rating zero stars, I would. I have been with Pineapple for more than 3 years now. Numerous vehicles insured. I bought a new car last month and insured it with Pineapple also. Five days after, I ran over a dog that jumped in front of me. (the dog is ok, by the way). Now, all of the sudden, there is a standard access AND a single vehicle accident access AND a 6 month risk period access (because I've only had the car five days. None of this was ever mentioned by any consultant. Just the standard access. And when you confront them, the consultant simply just says it's stated black on white in your policy. A policy which was mailed to me days after I took out the insurance. So, my question is: "How the hell am I supposed to know about the access arrangements, and how can I question it before I take out the insurance, if I only received the policy days after???

I caution everyone to be very careful of Pineapple. They have a lot of hidden clauses that only come to light when the situation strikes. Currently, as I'm sitting here, I have an absolute false sense of security from so called Pineapple. Just knowing, for instance, if I end up with any single vehicle accident, no matter what the cause, I will have to pay double my standard access before they even lift a finger.

As I told the consultant that day. "You should be ashamed of yourself for the manner in which you handle your customers. I'm cancelling all my insurance with Pineapple.

Thank you,
