Pineapple is a ****... Should I cancel and lose my money or pay for 6 more months and hope my claim will be approved? What a conundrum!

Insured an iPhone 12 pro. I am in France and I am pickpocketed. I inform these guys the following day over chat cause I DO NOT HAVE A PHONE. They tell me to log this thing manually via a call. HOW? I DO NOT HAVE A PHONE. I ask to give a temp number I can be reached on and no, they cannot call me. I ask what documentation I need to get so I can start claim, no one knows I have to call to figure that out. Verdict, I have to keep paying to insure a phone I do not have anymore until I can get back to South Africa in October. Even then, I cannot be told what I need to prepare because I cannot get through. So the claim might be dismissed / not approved because I do not have the right docs and might not be able to get them cause incident occurred in France.

So, here is to the next 6 months of me paying for insurance on a device I no longer own because, all the bots I have chat with do not know how we can move forward. Or, here is to me cancelling the insurance and losing my money.
