Roadside Assistance

Below email was sent to Pineapple on the 10th of December 2025 but still not actioned from their side. 💔

Dear Pineapple Insurance Team,

I'm writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the service I received from your Roadside Assistance team on Saturday evening. Despite having a policy that clearly states I'm covered for 100km, the consultant who attended to my emergency disputed this and said I'm only covered for 60km.

I took up the policy with Pineapple Insurance in good faith, and the contract I received confirms the 100km coverage.

When I requested assistance, I was told the nearest petrol station was the only option, which was not helpful. I tried to make alternative arrangements, but the consultant refused to tow my car to my friend's place, which was within the 100km limit.

I had to incur additional costs and inconvenience my family and friends to assist me. I'm extremely dissatisfied with the service and would like this matter resolved urgently.

I request that you:

1. Confirm the 100km coverage as stated in my policy 2. Reimburse me for the costs incurred due to the disputed coverage (I still have to reimburse my uncle his fuel from Silverton and back) 3. Provide a clear explanation for the discrepancy
