Roadside assistance

My car broke down on the R44 in Stellenbosch on my way home (about 40km). Bear in mind I’m pregnant (36 weeks). I used the roadside assistance number on the app and could not get an agent for about an hour of waiting on the phone. I don’t know this area and felt very unsafe. I message on the app trying to get assistance and they tried on their end to help as I got through to an agent who took my details and send they’ll get back to me. They are still getting back until now. I had to pay out of my own pocket a tow truck to come and fetch because I had no other choice. I’m really disappointed with the service I got as it was very first claim/assistance with Pineapple. Who knows what could’ve happened. 😡
