RED FLAGS + WHISTLEBLOWER

Hi,Pineapple Claims Team

I am writing to formally escalate my complaint regarding the handling of my vehicle repairs.that was involved in an accident on the 14th of January 2026 and claim approved on the 19th January 2026 #3Months without a car !

This morning the 13th April 2026 since I still don’t have my car, I received an unexpected call from a specialist “Keith introducing himself, who advised that my vehicle had been delivered to his workshop without any prior communication or clear instructions regarding the work to be completed.

During a live WhatsApp video call, he showed me the vehicle, where I observed the following:

Missing rear lights❌

Missing window trims/strips❌

Incomplete body alignment, including a visible gap near the rear wheel❌

The specialist further indicated that he was unsure what work needed to be done and suggested that I come view the vehicle and advise what should be repaired so that he can communicate this back to the insurer.

This is completely unacceptable.‼️

I was informed that my vehicle would be moved to a specialist and I should I be involved in assessing or managing the repairs. This clearly indicates a serious breakdown in communication and process between Renew-It and the appointed service providers.

At this stage, I require urgent clarification on the following:

Why was my vehicle sent to a specialist without proper instructions or scope of work?

Why was I contacted directly without prior communication from Renew-It or Pineapple?

Why are key components missing and repairs incomplete at this stage?

Who is responsible for managing and quality checking the repair process?

What is the confirmed timeline for full completion and return of my vehicle?

This situation has now escalated beyond a delay and raises serious concerns regarding the management and quality of the repair process.

I expect immediate intervention and a clear resolution plan.

UPDATE:4

SHOCKING UPDATE

Renew-It Management,

Im honestly not typing these email because I’m bored I’m gathering evidence and updates of this case as now it will become a case,I just called Pineapple claims spoken to KOKETSO now the 13th April 2026 @11:46, Guess what no manager is available nor a team leader available to take my call… #JOKE OF SERVICE

I would like to bring to your urgent attention further concerning developments regarding my vehicle.Following my earlier escalation, I have now been informed by the specialist (Keith) that he received a call from Renew-It requesting his workshop address.

This raises a serious concern, as my vehicle had already been delivered to his workshop prior to this. It is therefore unclear how my vehicle was sent to a location for repairs when the address was not even properly recorded or confirmed by Renew-It.

This, combined with the fact that:
  • The specialist had no clear instructions regarding the required work
  • I was contacted directly and asked to advise on repairs
  • The vehicle is still incomplete and missing components

clearly indicates a breakdown in process, communication, and oversight. At this stage, I have lost confidence in the handling of my vehicle and the overall repair process.I require urgent clarification on:
I then receive a call from Renew-it Bedfordview
:She starts buy apologising and confirming that my car was dropped off at an INCORRECT WAREHOUSE from the 09th April 2026 Till today the 13th April 2026 renew-it didn’t escalate my car’ whereabouts if I did not receive a call from Keith who told me he has my car with no communication Renew-it won’t have an idea #ZERO SECURITY CHECK

  1. How my vehicle was dispatched to a workshop without proper documentation or confirmed details.
  2. Who is responsible for managing and authorising the repair process.
  3. What immediate steps will be taken to regain control of the situation and ensure my vehicle is properly repaired.
  4. A confirmed and final completion date.

Please treat this matter with the highest level of urgency. This situation is unacceptable and requires immediate resolution.
