#PINEAPPLESUCKS #IWYZESUCKS!!!

Pineapple is using an inspection miss as reason to reject my cliam. However, like anyone who could be occupied with shopping for a car for their daughter, looking for cover for mine nad her car. This is how Ilanded up with Pineapple. Very, very welcoming and they agreed to sign me up hence I have a policy number. they have rejected the claim even after proofthat I was in an accident by 10 providing a police stamped affidavit. 20 details of the other driver. 3. Pictures of the two cars invloved. 4) video footage of car showing NO damage in the moring and with damage in the afternoon of the incident 4. retail receipt toprove my movements that day. Initially, Pineapple did not cite this reason for delaying resolving my claim, clearly a sign that they were loking for any possibilityto not honor the claim - particularly it being a brand new policy. Their reasons were changing along the way until they cited the inspection pictures as their main reason. Thsi after, I was questioned likea ******** when upon signing me up, they were fawning over me and love-bombing. Typical selfish behavior as I ackowekdge that I hadn't had the time to send the pictures. It happens and it is a hard lesson I must - very traumatic indeed and to be treated like this just magnified this horrific experience. This company continues to debit my account every month. I regret moving from SANTAM, whom I was with for year without claiming now I ampayting for a stupid mistake that I can prove is not malice t- to claim ********ly!!! Objections submitted and deadline passed and I am still without feedback! #PINEAPPLESUCKS #OLDMUTUALSUCKS #THEINSURANCEOMBUD #NOTHELPFUL

Subject: RE: AOR1: Old Mutual Insure Ltd v Maphongwane Acknowledgment of Receipt Regarding M1986/22 OSTICRM:*** Good afternoon Lucky and Cynthia, I received a phone call this morning from a Thandi at Pineapple to verbally inform me of their rejection of my claim. She has also just emailed a copy of the rejection letter. I need help to object this outcome Please! Additionally, I am providing another account of events as evidence that I did not make this accident up. Pineapple has been trying to avoid liability by using delay tactics, giving foolish replies to queries, and suing a wrongful claim denial. THE ACCIDENT HAPPENED ON 02 JULY 2022 while I had insurance cover with them, not before. What happened in order for me to submit a claim to Pineapple? Contrary to Pineapple’s excuse of me failing to submit pictures, this accident actually did take place. I had not managed to complete the inspection required when signing up and this happened in less than a month of cover. I did not have the time and it was an honest oversight. These things happen! FACT IS, ACCIDENT TOOK PLACE! So, on the afternoon of the 04th July, I drove to the Engen Fomiss Auto gas station on the corner of Comaro + Boundary Roads, Oakdene. I was with a man named Kwekwe, a plumber that had come to do some maintenance work for me at home. His phone number is *** and attached is a screenshot of our calls on the day, Saturday 02 July. I was going to withdraw money from a FNB ATM located at the Engen Garage to pay him. (see attached proof of withdrawal) Prior to this, he and I had gone and purchased some items from Builders Warehouse to do the work, see attached slip as evidence. I paid At around 14h00 or so, after I paid Kwekwe, we parted ways and he went by foot to the other side of the gas station to catch a taxi. I got into my car and that is when the accident happened, evidence to this is; The other driver and I parked on the side and spoke to exchange details (see attached proof of correspondence with them_from 2 July to a few days later) He was with a woman and a small baby They decided to share the wife’s phone number at the scene of the accident and when i asked for the driver’s license later, I was given the woman’s. Not certain why as the man was driving. I made a request to Pineapple to handle this for me as I did not want a conflict. I also expressed a desire for them to help me claim excess due from the driver as I believe they were in the wrong. As per above, the driver’s license and contact number of the female including their vehicle’s registration number were provided Pictures of damage to both cars were provided, see in attached An accident report was lodged on the 03rd of July at Mondeor police station, see email for proof The next day, on Monday 04th July, I lodged my claim and today we are here and Pineapple is refusing to honour my claim citing the inspection was not done. I get that but there’s enough evidence of this accident happening. I DID NOT MAKE IT UP! I am open to making all efforts including to request CCTV from my Townhouse complex, Builders warehouse and Engen garage if they have and can be able to assist. Kindly guide me if fami**** with making such requests. Should I share the accident report with them to make this request? Am convinced that Pineapple has been looking for any excuse to reject my claim. They questioned me like I was a ******** who does not pay for the cover. Granted, it was to intimidate to tell the truth but very very unacceptable way of questioning clients. They delayed coming back to me forcing me to chase and chase and everytime just to gaslight me. I am attaching some of the correspondence as account to the process followed and evidence of the poor service received. What made it worse is not being able to call these people. I tried every avenue to get a quick resolution but terrible as they don’t respond or will give an empty statement. Please let me know if I can provide any more detail to successfully object this. | | Warm regards,
