Pineapple is a fantastic insurance company

Hello there,

Most often then not we only come here on this platform to complain. I am not here to complain, but I am here to pay a huge compliment; not just to Pineapple as a company but to Dumisile Lekone and Kedibone Moahlodi.

Background:

• I got into an accident on the 24th of March 2026, and i immediately contacted Pineapple for assistance. The lady (unfortunately didn’t catch her name) I spoke to was very assuring, calming and super helpful. She assisted me on the spot and got me going with a tow truck in less than 45 minutes.

Then came the claiming stage:

• My word, where do I even start? From day 1 Dumisile and Kedibone were nothing short of excellent, professional and very helpful. • Dumisile took over the claim processing, and she gave me daily updates, even if to say Mr Ndlovu: we are still awaiting this and that from this place and that place. She was extremely professional, very efficient, calm even when I got frustrated with some of the stuff I was following up on. You don’t see this everyday especially when you are dealing with insurance claims. • The claim was eventually approved and again, the way Dumisile conducted herself is very commendable. She didn’t stop updating me just because the claim was approved. She has empathy, compassion and ubuntu.

Keep it up Dumisile, you are a star and Pineapple is very lucky to have you. God bless you.
