Pineapple insurance underwriter by Old Mutual is a complete ****. I am a victim ****med by this insurance company. I was sold a policy that includes telematics, which reads mileage and sends it to my insurance for potential discounts if I don't drive more than 300 km per month. The telematics device is from Tracker, and it was supposed to be part of the deal with Pineapple, included in my premium. However, last year, Tracker deducted from my account, and when I inquired, they insisted I had an account with them. I explained it's part of the deal I had with Pineapple insurance, but I was told to pay Tracker separately. I was confused as it was supposed to be part of the premium/deal I am paying Pineapple. Since last June, my telematics has never worked because Tracker wanted its own premium, despite it being initiated and included in my premium with Pineapple Insurance. I've been trying to contact them about this issue, but there has been no response. I strongly advise against using Tracker and Pineapple.
