Pineapple Insurance Cellphone Claim

I lodged a claim for a measly screen replacement for my iPhone 11. They took it in and sent it to their service provider 'Device Doctor'. Device Doctor sent me a message informing me that they are repairing my phone and it will be sent back to me shortly.

As I was waiting for my device, I received a message from CA Cellular (one of their expensive service providers) telling me that Pineapple has processed my claim and that I'm getting an iPhone 13 mini. No one from Pineapple communicated that my phone was being s****ped, I had to call to get clarity.

I was not given the opportunity to choose the type of phone I want to replace my 'econically irreparable phone',they simply assumed that I want an iPhone 13 mini.

I am very disappointed with this experience.
