Pineapple DO BETTER!

1. With my claim issue (see below), I had to on a daily basis nag them to update them and provide feedback. The claims agent, Brenda that i was assigned to, took way more than the 7 working day promise to finalize my claim- even though i provided all necessary documentation ASAP. My experience with her was honestly poor- i literally had to "beg" for her response.

2. I was initially charged an excess fee which was not what i had agreed to and approved as per my policy schedule. I had to dispute that too, which further delayed my claim, Pineapple was in the wrong, and subsequently rectified their wrong charges. When I inquired- they mentioned that, they "forgot" to send me an updated policy schedule last year. Really poor coming from an insurance company. Pacific Nkosi, actually called- which meant a lot. He did assist!

PS: Make sure you check your policy schedule and what is required from you(customer) and them (insurer). Great customer service provided by Banele (2nd claims agent)- assisted swiftly within a few hours- something which took others 3 weeks!!!!!! I myself- as a customer, bestow her as "The Employee of the Month" Below is my experience: I'm writing to you to share my appalling experience from Pineapple. It is honestly quite sad to note the change of customer service between when one (the customer) is initially joining this insurance and when the customer now has to file a claim! The lack of customer service to the latter is disappointing! No customer feedback provided by Pineapple- the turnaround time is very long I logged a phone claim on 2/May/2022. Took all the previous agents 3 weeks to sort it out. (Which is over the 7 working days promise) of which I have not had my working phone I couldn't even access any of my banking services or anything of mine. IT IS SUCH A GREAT INCONVENIENCE! This service is honestly appalling and of which I will be ashamed in recommending to other people. It is a shame to be a "Pineappler"
