Not having a Fineapple experince at all.

So you must now open a tracker account; they pay for the unit, but you pay for the tracker. If you sell the car, you are bound by a contract with Tracker that requires you to pay R600 to terminate. And the cycle begins again for a new car: get a quote, and if you drive less, you get money back if you purchase this tracking unit. Remember that they need the tracking unit to calculate the rate. However, this entails entering into an unwilling contract with a third party, which will penalize the insurer. by the way, for my new vehicle, its been weeks since I've been insured and they cant calculate my discount.
