Disappointed
I am extremely dissatisfied with the handling of my claim by Pineapple Insurance.
My claim was approved on 19 January 2026, yet there has been a significant delay in the repair process with no clear accountability or urgency from Pineapple.
Despite multiple follow-ups, I have received inconsistent and unclear updates regarding the status of my vehicle. I was recently advised on 20 March 2026 that the vehicle was in paint preparation, only to be informed again on 23 March 2026 that it is still in the spray booth, with no explanation for the delay.
I have also now been told that additional work, such as the rear exhaust, still needs to be done, which will further delay completion. This raises concerns about the lack of coordination and oversight from Pineapple as the insurer managing the claim.
As the responsible party for managing and overseeing the repair process, I expected better communication, transparency, and proactive follow-up.
I request urgent intervention from Pineapple management to take control of this matter and provide a clear, realistic timeline for completion.

I am extremely frustrated with the ongoing delays regarding my vehicle repairs, For transparency alone as Pineapple took my car to renew-it and never looked back on the process updates or follow ups, here is the timeline provided by the repair centre: you pineapple dumped my car at.
Proof can be provided on request as I had to go back to each communication received from renew-it Bedfordview
23 February – I was informed that all parts had been received
24 February – Vehicle was in panel beating stage
11 March – Advised that only one rear valance was delivered instead of two
16 March – Confirmed that all parts had now been received and the vehicle would move to paint preparation , The vehicle progressed to paint preparation and then spray booth
23 March – I was informed the vehicle was in spray booth and scheduled for assembly, Now, after all these stages, I am being told that the vehicle is delayed because the supplier provided an incorrect taillamp. This makes absolutely no sense. How was an incorrect part not identified at the time of delivery on
23 February? How did the vehicle move through multiple stages, including paint and spray booth, without this being flagged?
This clearly points to poor quality control and lack of proper parts verification. I have already raised concerns, yet I continue to receive delayed updates and shifting explanations instead of accountability and urgency. At this point, I have lost confidence in the process.
If this matter is not resolved urgently with a clear explanation and realistic completion date, I will have no choice but to escalate this further to the relevant Ombudsman. I expect transparency, accountability, and a proper resolution.
