Debit on Cancelled Policy - Shady practices
Cancelled my policy shortly after activating it due to the following reasons 1. My vehicle was horribly under valued on the cover you provided. My outstanding finance amount would have a substantial shortfall. 2. Your minimum excess is R3000 which would further increase that shortfall. 3. No way to contact you other than messaging. If I can't phone someone in an emergency and the turn around on a message is this long that is unacceptable to me. 4. Lack of transparency and conflicting information. Wallet balances are paid out yearly as cash in one sentence and points in another. An insurance company should be better at this. 5. Your app and web platforms are non intuitive. Also many broken links on your website which is alarming. 6. I was told that you guys would cancel my existing insurance for me. This did not happen and I was set to be double debited this month. 7. Providing a form of reward for reviewing a company so soon into an interaction is not a very ethical way to do thing. Overall the starting experience was good but if I was told from the start what value you would be using to insure my belongings I would not have signed up in the first place. The value was only shown on the app after inspection. Just not the way I do business. Then they confirmed the policy would be cancelled and I would not be debited... The debit went off today anyway. I would like my money refunded as well as the debit order fee for the unauthorized debit order.
