Biggest Regret!

I bought a new phone last year & insured with Pineapple & another company. I then dropped out of the other company because Pineapple was cheaper,little did i know i was making the biggest mistake of my life. When i took out the insurance they did not insist on the pictures of the box & went ahead to deduct monthly premiums even without getting the pictures. On January 25th I lost my phone & put in the claim on the 28th. They started asking for a lot of things that they did not mention when i took out the cover. I had lost the box in a fire last year along with the POP. They asked for a copy of the POP which i went to request from the store & submitted to them along with all they asked for except for the box. They started capitalising on the fact that the phone was not RICAd in my name & i explained that my friend registered it in her name cos i had no ID at the time. I even sent them a copy of her ID & then they started with the box issue again. And told me my claim was invalid. I would not recommend this insurance company to anyone. I am deeply hurt & disappointed with them.
