Beware if Pinaple insurance!

Pineapple is still the only short term insurance in South Africa that still uses a 31 day cancelation policy. When we took up cover with King Price Insurance they informed Pineapple Insurance to cancel their cover. I too emailed Pinaple to say they cancel the cover effective 27 May 2025 as the new cover was starting 28 May 2025. I advised I don't want a overlap in cover. We gave been emailing and sending whattsapp messages to cancel this cover. Nonhlanhla or Matlou told us that they need 31 days to cancel the cover...in this day and age?! Besides them charging you 3 excess amounts now this? So now I just realise Natlou is canceling effective 28th May... I NEED COVER CANCELED EFFECTIVE 27 MAY NOT 28TH MAY!!!!!
