Bad bad insurance company

A biggest mistake of my life that l will live to regret for the rest of my life.Last year January 2022 l bought my x5 and wanted to insure with my insurance which was mi way and the quote l got was way out of my budget for 2 cars&l started searching for affordable insurances and l came across the name of pineapple Insurance and while reading the reviews of their bogus clients l got interested iyooooooo only to find that l was digging my own grave,l then filled online form for them to contact me.The guy called me and by July l joined them and the quote for 2 cars was R867.36 monthly for full comprehensive cover and l saved close to R800 from the quote of R1650 from mi way&l was so happy as l was going to have extra cash to fix few things for mi 2 bmws.Then on the 30th of December 2023 l drove from Pretoria to Polokwane with my family to visit my in-laws and when l arrived at Polokwane cbd the car came to a standstill couldn't move forward or backwards but it was starting&idling,l then tried to phone their road assistance department but couldn't get through until l opens the app and managed to get&to my suprise their employee said l must pay R5700 for them to tow the car back to Pretoria as their cover got limitations, that's where the problem started.After a lot of arguments l ended seeking help around as it was now 13H00&been arguing with them from 8am,from the 02/01/2024 l sent a lot of emails to them requesting a copy of our conversation with the sales person which l got on the 5th of January and in that conversation the guy said even if l can experience any problem within sadc countries they will be able to assist me UT dololo. After a number of complaints from me their customer complain personnel sent an email apologizing and said the person who assisted me was supposed to call the nearest service provider for storage as they couldn't tow the car from Polokwane to Pretoria of which is something that their sales person didn'tention to me.When l searched for the copy of my contract on my emails that's when l realized that the guy didn't send me a copy of my contract and l couldn't take them anywhere for the loss of R5800 l lost to tow and repair the car there,l hate car insurances because of pineapple Insurance and would drive my cars without any insurance&safe money monthly to the future incidents that l might come across but the moment old mutual took over and became underwriter l knew that trouble was looming
