8 months wasted for nothing
I was involved in a car accident about 8 months (2024/06/30)ago, and the matter dragged because of unauthorized towing of the vehicle where insurance was overcharged (R14k) in 2 days and in the process, insurance was denied access to inspect the car. Finally they got the car 2025/02/07 after court battle and somehow they claim that I was overspeeding and there were no fault on the brakes as I have claimed as a result they are not paying to fix the car by the way, the dispute between towing company and them was not settled, I was sent an invoice to pay towing company. So why did we waste time if I'm liable for all costs? Why did they insure my vehicle?

Relook at the brakes. Brake booster is faulty and ask VW what is does when it fails
A simple calculation of loss I incurred during the 8months = (car monthly installment × 8) +( insurance installment × 8 ) just above R75 000 I have paid for vehicle I did not have because of Pineapple inability to make best decisions for the insured.
