Zero accountability

Pick n Pay's approach to customer experience on the ASAP app is deeply disappointing. This isn’t the first time I’ve encountered so-called “specials” that, once purchased, mysteriously become unavailable due to being “out of stock.” It’s starting to feel less like coincidence and more like a lack of accountability.

If I had seen the same promotion in-store, Pick n Pay would be required to honour the advertised price — but online, the same responsibility seems to vanish. That’s unacceptable.

This repeated issue points to poor quality control and an app experience that’s letting down loyal customers. It leaves a bad taste in the mouth and reflects poorly on a brand that claims to value its shoppers.

It’s time for Pick n Pay to take ownership, fix the app, and show customers the respect they deserve — by honouring advertised prices and ensuring proper oversight of digital platforms.

This wasn’t a response. I don’t expect anything to come from this. I’ve previously complained about the same thing and nothing happened.
