Wrongly accused by pick n pay

My hubby and I went shopping. Chatting non stop, we never saw that we were charged 110 instead of r50 for shampoo. As I leave the till, still instore, I tell him to take the shampoo and slip to customer service and get a refund for the difference while I wait outside. 10 minutes later I go to the customer set ice desk to see why it's taking so long. He tells me he is waiting on the staff to get done. Half an hour later I go back to the customer service desk cos he was the only person there o ly to find customers staring at him and a security guard accusing him of picking the slip, going to the aisle, taking the shampoo off the shelf and trying to get money back that doesn't belong to him. The more he tells her his wife is standing outside with a trolley full of groceries, she continues to accuse him infront of a crowd of customers. I ask to speak to the manager twice and she downright refused my request. I told her to go view the footage. She comes back, puts the slip on the desk and walks away without apologizing. Only THEN does the staff refund me. I called the manager the next day who advised he will investigate and get back to me the following day. A week later and no word from them. Nobody apologized to my husband for the embarrassment and humiliation. Is this how they treat their loyal customers. The manager tried shifting blame. Said the security company is outsourced but at the end of the day, pick n pay recruited that company. They represent pick n pay. How. Any customers don't go through this humiliation then it just gets treated as nothing
