Wrong price of product and bad management

My mother and I went to the Pick n Pay in George Saasveld road to purchase groceries today, we saw wigs at a good price and took one. Above the wigs was the barcode and price with the name of the wigs. The price on the barcode was R116.99 with the name of the wig as well. But when we went to the tills the cashier rang the wig up for R249.95. He called a supervisor who went to check the price. She then went to the manager to discuss the issue, when she came back she informed us that unfortunately the manager had said the price that was on the till was the price we had to pay. Plus the policy at PNP had changed as they loosing too much money. She then said if we want to talk to the manager we are welcome to do so. The manager by all rights should have come to talk to us directly instead on just sitting in the office because we saw him sitting there through the doorway. I have know PNP to have a policy that if the items price is wrong at the till point they would give you the item at the price on the shelf and another of the same item free. How can a supervisor tell a customer that the policy has changed because they are loosing too much money. Very disappointed with this service
