Worst service experience

I went to Pick n Pay Kilburn Centre today 15 January 2022. At the kiosk I noticed that the till at the Lotto counter was closed but the other till was open. The supervisor, Jackie, was serving a staff member. I wanted to ask Jackie if she could kindly assist me with a Lotto ticket, but before I could reach her, the staff member turned around and told me I can only pay for stuff at the kiosk. What type of service is that? Is my money not good enough for Pick n Pay?
