Worst service country wide from a Pick ‘n Pay

Experienced the worst of customer service from a Pick ‘n Pay Nelspruit today. I went to buy few items and among those was a pnp frozen assorted berries 1KG for R109.99, However I get to the till and when it was rang it was 159.99. I bring it to the attention of the cashier that that’s not the pricing on the shelf. With an attitude she responded I don’t know the price of berries. She then proceeded to call her supervisor who asked me to go show her the price. We get to the shelf to realize price on the shelf is R109.99. I was not phased by the incorrect price as I understood it was a human error. What made my blood boil was the lady who then tried to make me feel illiterate by saying “the barcodes are not the same” to which I responded with a question “As a consumer must I look at the price or the barcode?” Which she gave a vague answer. Now my predicament is does Pick ‘n Pay now want us consumers to look at barcodes rather than prices?
