Worst experience from Pick and Pay Lemon Tree selling off wors 😞

My family and I went to the Pick and Pay at Lemon Tree, Alberton yesterday 17 August 2025. We reside in Albertsdal and there are closer Pick and Pays near us, but we really enjoyed the shopping experience at that specific Pick and Pay. Yet yesterday the experience was so poor. After paying at the till and leaving the store, we were forced by security to produce a slip. Look we don’t really mind following protocol, however, there was no reason or any suspicion for us to have been stopped and our child and trolley held back as if we were ********s. My wife the. Processed to ask for a refund if they didn’t want the trolley to leave the store but because of the way we were approached for the slip they can keep their products. A manager came spoke to us but didn’t really make us feel as if we were been seen or heard… we decided to leave the store as they were just wasting our time when trying to get the refund and we were kinda in a rush. Today when we tried the wors bought from the store we were even more dissatisfied and actually abit angry. Given the wors was a promotional item but what we got was just plain disgusting. While preparing it, it smelt great in the air-fryer… but once it was done and I had a bite, the meat had a sour taste. Meaning that it was off. From the taste and smell we had to throw the wors away. The lays we bought tasted like there was sand… the kooksisters were also hard and stale. It’s really sad how that specific store had just disappointed so bad. Never 👎 going back there… not even to take the word back… they can keep that money and I keep my peace ✌🏾
