WORSE SERVICE AT PICK N PAY HYPER BRACKENFELL

I'm very disappointed in the service received from both Ottery and Brackenfell Pick n Pay Hyper. I went to the Ottery branch which is close to where I stay, the deep freezer I wanted to purchase was sold out. I then requested that they contact the only other branch they have in the Western Cape which is Brackenfell. They have plenty stock all good and well they kept it aside for me. I checked the closing time because it's a public holiday the website says 5pm. I got there at 15:55 I checked the clock on my dash as pulling into the parking and I made it in time for me to purchase not only the deep freezer but to do some grocery shopping too. I get to the door the security is telling everyone sorry we closed. I'm super irritated at this point and about to lose my mind for driving all the way for nothing. Even though on the glass door at the store it's public holiday 5pm closing time. I called the store from the door to find out if I can just collect the deep freezer that's being kept aside that would only take less than 5 minutes to pay for and the Store Manager Neville refused to assist even though I can see from where I'm standing customers walking the aisles but apparently everyone is gone home already is what I was told. I only needed 5 minutes to pay. If getting it from storage would've been a problem I would have collected the next day. I just needed to pay because of the promotion that ended today they confirmed when I called that they would keep it for me to collect the next day. When I asked about making an exception considering the fact that I drove all the way from the Ottery Branch with not mentioning that they just decided to close an hour earlier Neville wasn't even willing to assist. I even called the Ottery Branch to find out again if I made a mistake with regards to the closing time and the Store Manager Shaun mentioned he wasn't aware that they decided to close at 4pm when both stores closing times are 5pm.
