Winner draw handled in a Micky-Mouse fashion

Sunday the 12th July was the draw to win a Ford Bakkie at Pick 'n Pay Hypermarket in Brakenfell. The competition rules were that the winner must be present and so a crowd had gathered. What was very disappointing was the Micky-Mouse way in which the draw took place. <br> For starters there was no proper PA system in place and the first names that were called out could not be heard by the vast majority of the crowd - and this made people very angry.<br> How were we to know if our name was called out or not??<br> Finally after a long time they got Bok radio to set up a microphone but they only had one speaker right on top of thier van and so STILL many people on the outskirts could not hear. People got very angry and started shouting 'let's shop at Checkers from now on' , so the way in which this draw took place upset a lot of people including myself. <br> I think the many, many names that were called out and then discarded without making a clear and proper announcement was very poor form and this event has upset many who left dissatisfied and angry with Pick 'n Pay!
