WHY PICK N PAY WILL GO OUT OF BUSINESS

PICK N PAY HYPER BOKSBURG

We brought a Defy kettle from PnP Hyper Boksburg today. On returning to the office we identified that this kettle was previously used and returned. The original purchase was from PnP hyper Woodmead. I phone the store and spoke to the department head. I arranged with him to have a driver swop the used kettle for a new kettle. At 11h07 the department head phone me and said the driver was leaving then with the new kettle and would be with me shortly, our offices are about one kilometer from the store. At 11h31 the driver had not arrived and I phoned the store to find out where he was, this time a lady from the department answered the call, when I asked where the driver was, she laughed and told me the driver had just left and would be with me shortly. At 11h54 I received a call from Prince Mphishane asking for a pin as he could not find our location. I sent the pin via SMS and asked for confirmation that he had received the location pin. He never responded, I then called him He original denied receiving it, but after much backward and forward he acknowledge he had received it. I asked him where he was, he responded that he was still at the store. I then tried to contact the general manger, which is not possible. The switchboard operator, Johanna, was a gatekeeper and could not contact him and refused to provide his cell number. It when so far that when i asked for his name Johanna was not even certain what the general managers name was. I was give a name of Cangrige??

I thought I would get better assistance if I called the customer care number, what a mistake, they are not interested in what you are asking for, they are only interested in what they what to tell you, I dealt with a lady called Voleka, when I asked for her surname she ended the call. It is now patently clear why PnP is about to go out of business, there is no interest in customer service at all.
