Why advertise - to bring clients into your shop?

Reacting to Pick 'n Pay's promotional pamphlets, I took time off work today and went to the Boksburg Hypermarket.

Perhaps I should have known better than to expect to get the items that I went to the Hypermarket for in the first place: Rolux Lawnmower with free ****eater at R1599-00 - out of stock (excuse from management: sold out). 6 x Tin Cup red wine at R144-00 - out of stock (excuse from liquor store: stock did not arrive yet). 2 x 6 C***** Mineral water at R48-00 - out of stock (I gave up asking for reasons).

I did obtain a \rain check\" voucher for the lawn mower, but how long will I have to wait? A week? A month?

Will I ever receive a phone call from Pick 'n Pay? In the mean time I need a lawn mower.

Is Pick 'n Pay aware that some people do not have an abundance of time? Being a self-employed shop owner I cannot afford to waste my time.

I trust to hear from a Pick 'n Pay employee regarding the lawn mower.

Thanks and regards

Jacques Kuun
"
