when my son slipped on a wet floor and hurt his back

<p>So on Friday the 3rd of February 2017 I was in a pick n pay store which is located in Cape Town in Strand street....</p> <p>My son just wanted to go and exchange his chocolates and when running back like any child would the floor was then mopped, all wet with no sign to indicate that the floor had been mopped......... My son was hurt real bad, was laying lights out for more than 20 minutes, staff instore showed compassion however the manager instore who is named Amina was extremely rude and very unhelpful.</p> <p>I tried remaining calm instore, the manager advised me that they called up the ambulance however they never informed the ambulance about the incident that took place, i had to ask my friend to call them up again and explain that a 10 year old boy slipped and fell and hurt his back real bad.</p> <p>The service I got from the manager was so appaling, when i asked for her assistance she even had the audacity to tell me can i not be so dramatic as she has other things to see too as well, after i approached her in a very calm manner, my son was laying there with a back injury, was crying then resorted to silence from being in pain.</p> <p>Eventually when paramedics arrived we had to take him to hospital for x ray and he also need to go back to the Doctor in next week for a follow up check up which costs me as his health is of crucial importance and yet no word or even show of concern from Pick n Pay was shown after the incident.</p> <p>Also the nerve that lady had as she informed my son that "you will be fine boy"..... me as his mom said yes you better be, her exact words to me was " or what?" ...... how would any mom in my position feel at that moment in time??????</p> <p>I can thank God my son is fine today and just pray that he has no further damage in future</p>
