Whats the point

So Pick n Pay Bedford has newly revamped, during the revamp process things were a nightmare and the lack of assistance was there. After the revamp I though things would change. Really nice store but assistance still lacking. My husband and I went in and wanted felt like some Avo's for our salad. We say a trolley in the veggie section full of prepacked Avo's all ripe. However they were expiring. The lady at the veggie counter said that they were half price and was just awaiting the labels. I said thats perfect. The avos were ready for eating. She told me she was coming back with a price. We were going to take a few more packs. When she came back she brought a floor manager (i think) and he said that he is going to have to give them to me at full price. i said but we were told they were half price. He said that he was going to take the trolley to the back and decide to most probably give them to the staff. What is the point of 1. telling a person they are half price 2. having a trolley with expired goods on the floor if you are not going to sell them 3. now saying that they will be full price.<br> <br> So over Pick n Pay. Going back to Checkers. I put everything back and walked out.
