What time does Pick'n'Pay Birch Acres close?

Last night I arrived at Pick'n'Pay Birch Acres mall at 18:50 and the doors where closed. I asked the security guard what time the stored closed and he said at 19:00. Now unless if I am missing something, doesn't this mean that they should let us in to the store until 19:00?
