What has happened to Pick n Pay
I received a brochure in my local newspaper from Pick n Pay advertising their new fresh line foods. I was interested in the curried coconut tofu and eagerly went to Pick n Pay Cresta. I was unable to find it so asked a few staff members to assist me and they were very unhelpful and didnt even know what tofu is. I eventually found a person who took me to a fridge and on the shelf there was a sign written Curried Coconut Tofu but there was no stock. I asked him why and he just shrugged his shoulders and said that "he didnt know but that is how Pick n Pay works". I asked him why they advertise a product when they dont have it and his reply was "phone head office, the branch didnt even order it". I then went to the Northcliff branch and a similar thing happened there. I am very disappointed in Pick n Pay and will never shop there again.
