We are NOT SAFE at Pick N Pay

My wallet was ****** inside a Pick n Pay store and as if that wasn't enough, when I approached the manager on duty at the time he told me that there was no CCTV footage because their cameras had been out of order for a while. I wasn't all that surprised about there not being any footage because I had a similar incident inside the same Pick N Pay store 3 years back where my phone was ****** and there was no footage available even then. The manager's nonchalant attitude is one thing because after all as a black South African, one must get used to being treated as being "lesser than" and being labeled as being "overly dramatic" when you voice out any complaint but my concern is that I am not the only one to lose my wallet on Friday and there is no footage to help pin the culprits or even help warn other potential victims. Pick N Pay management needs to do better to ensure the safety of its shoppers. Please take us seriously. I am a loyal Pick N Pay customer but I feel absolutely let down by management both at ground level and at the top.
