We are not getting what we are buying!!

On the 27th February 2016, I bought a bottle of Pick 'n Pay No Name Brand Blended Cooking Oil 750 ml at my local Pick 'n Pay. When I got home, I weighed the bottle. It weighed 702ml, including the plastic bottle's weight!<br> I messaged PnP via Twitter, and was informed the corporate team would be in touch.<br> On 29th Feb they messaged me asking me to DM my contact details, which I did. Someone called me and I explained what I had discovered.<br> Yesterday, 16th March 2016, I received a letter dated 29th February with a R18 gift card enclosed. <br> The letter states, among other lies \..our customers are our first priority.. as paramount to their wellbeing, the safety of all the foods we sell.. that our products meet with the highest possible quality standards and that these are maintained.. apply, follow and monitor acceptable food safety standards at all times\"<br> <br> That is so much a lie! They sell products, and think consumers are dumb enough to not check weights!<br> How insulting to be sent that insignificant letter with a Gift (puhlease!!) for the value of the cooking oil!<br> I am disgusted!<br> This is ***** and I want all consumers to be aware that this is the case - No Name Brands are ********** :("
