Waste of TRAVELING COSTS

Let me start by applauding PnP Lemon Tree in Alberton for always having stock of what they advertised. I believe this store is owned by an individual as it is with the QUALISAVE stores. Since January 2023 till last Friday, I've been trying to get advertised food product on different days from QualiSave without any success. Due to lack or non availability of their advertised FMCG products in the four PnP stores namely, Vosloorus, Chris Hani Crossing, Leondale and Alberton City, I contacted PnP to alert them to this . They responded by telling me that advertised are available "whilst stocks lasts" and that they have no control of stock holding at QualiSave stores. So, this might mean that they only bring in stocks that may cover their employees and nothing for customers in such stores! Buy the way, I was reliably told by a packer at one of the stores that they didn't receive products that I was looking for from the beginning of promotion. All stores I visited are close to my residential area and are targeted at black customers. I suppose their adverts are designed to lure us into their stores just to create instore traffic and thus wasting our traveling costs. WHY WOULD THEY ADVERTISE WHAT THEY DON'T HAVE ENOGH OF IN THE FIRST PLACE?? I was hoping for future remedial action from QualiSave instead of evasive action that I received.
