I honestly do not want to come back to this store. I have staff looking at me like I am unnecessary and being difficult. The image that has been created of me by your management staff at your store is embarrassing to say the least, all I wanted to purchase was Cokes for a event , when I saw the price of R16.99 for a 2l i grabbed the opportunity and took 10. When cashing out, the cashier advised me that this was the price for a 1.5 l coke, I then advised her that all the shelves had R16.99 how can one make such a mistake? Upon doubling checking with one of the staff, I realised that someone had taken off the R16.99 labels and one of the shelves packers has confirmed the mistake, however one of the supervisors went as far as saying ' WHO SAID WE NEED TO GIVE IT TO YOU AT THAT PRICE? INFRONT ON OTHER CUSTOMERS!!! Why are customers are at fault here? Don't you have shelve packets? They should ensure that the correct prices are below the items. They then called the store manager, and the response was absolutely shocking!! No apology, was this because I am a COLOURED? My experience regarding customer service in this store is pathetic. I do agree that the customer is not always right but a little bit of respect, especially as a manager, goes a long way with customers. Visiting your store again is unfortunately not an option. I do not mind visiting another store. I am just hoping that people using the store after me do not encounter anything like this and that the customer service of store but mainly your management team in particular improves for the better of your store.

The consumer protection act states that consumers has the right to demand paying the lower price for goods displaying same or two varying prices - the supplier is not permitted to charge a higher price for the goods that was advertised.

The only instance where a supplier is not bound to the price displayed is if an unauthorised person altered or covered or obscured the price, this was clearly not the case.
