Tofay i had the worst experience ever at Pick n pay Lambton. I went to get a skewers n chocolate it was a matter of in and out as i finished paying the security followed me and ask to search. Well that was a huge shock to me because i always buy there but i gave her my bag. She never asked for a slip to check but just went through my bag. She then asked me to follow her .i asked what is the problem she insisted she needed to search me ..what for i dont know so i told her she can do that in the shop as i was in the shop she insisted i follow her. Taking me to the dirtiest doggy toilets she started touchinfg me all over and i asked her what she is doing she never responded then we went back up n i told her i want to speak to the manager as all eyes where on me making me feel like aome hard core ********. I spoke to the manager and asked why was I being searched they said it's procedure but procedure is o my being done to me it 15:00pm in the afternoon the shop is empty why would I think of *****ing I asked they then called the senior manager who also failed to tell me what I was being strip searched for. Who wants to go to a store where you get searched like a ******** and you not given any explanation for. I have shopped at all the other stores woolies , spar checkers and nothing like that has ever happened. Being targeted and humiliated like that as if I stole something. They never found anything from me . I asked don't they have cameras and scans .. why would I risk my record for the few things I bought that I less than R100. I found that very offending., discriminating and very ******. I have always been a regular customer but the treatment I received was shockingly disappointing and embarrassing. They failed to give me a reason for the stunt they pulled on me and to them its normal. As a customer I would like to feel valued and respected should Pick n Pay Lambton feel their customers are ******* then they must tighten security buy have people in each and every isle. Being strip searched in a ***** filthy toilet and having a woman touch you so uncomfortable for no reason is very degrading. There's a lot of ********* who manage to ***** out there and they not victimised as civil law abiding citizens. Pick n pay Lambton is the worst place and the customer service sucks.
