VERY DISAPPOINTED
Every time I order from Pick 'n Pay there is a problem. This time only half my order was delivered. I went over my order time and time again, to check that everything was 100%. When I queried this, they told me that my goods ordered were still in the trolley. I cannot believe this.... their website must have malfunctioned somehow. I'm not a newbie at ordering online... I even order on overseas sites like Amazon in America and Amazon in the Netherlands. I work with computers on a daily basis... and I'm quite tech savvy. I update my own website... and I'm 68 years old. So... I know how to click UPDATE on my order. Whatever happened... Pick n Pay were not willing to make it right.... You cannot prove that you pressed UPDATE on your order.... but anyway, R60 for a delivery is a lot of money to spend. Checkers 60/60 charges half that.... so I will continue ordering from Checkers in future. I asked PnPay very nicely to please deliver the rest of my goods.. without an extra R60 fee.... no luck whatsoever.... thought it would be a nice way to keep a very good customer happy. Hope whoever reads this ....learns from reading this... double check that the website hasn't malfunctioned and updated your order..... hope this helps someone else
This is utter nonsense, I'm a 68 year old pensioner, who works from home. I'm always here.
I notice that the money went off my account yesterday... quick enough to take money but hell's bells, it's difficult to get a delivery without problems. This has now cost me R120
I can tell you what's wrong with your website... you can click UPDATE but you don't know that you're supposed to then click on NEXT (which to the normal person would think that clicking next would take you to checkout and pay).... once you click UPDATE... you then go to another window that that asks you do you want to save the changes and so it goes on until eventually you see COOL BANANAS you've been successful. Why must one go through hoops to update your order. If you click UPDATE, you assume you've updated... if you must confirm, then it should take place after you've clicked UPDATE. Seeing NEXT, really looks like you want to check out and this causes confusion. The website needs to be updated.
They have furniture polish and washing powder online for you to order, but when you want to check out, you can't... because chemicals aren't allowed..... Seriously? I had a R500 gift voucher to spend at PicknPay.... after hours of searching for what I needed, I couldn't pay with my gift voucher... another call to helpdesk... to be told that you cannot use your gift voucher online, you have to go into the store.... I mean come on.... it's laughable, that your site is impossible to navigate without issues. I am now R120 out of pocket, monies paid for deliveries... and I still am waiting for my 2nd order.... This is crazy! If you really value my patronage, my delivery fees will be refunded to me. This will encourage me to want to order from PicknPay again.

This morning I call AGAIN to the ***(not a free call) and was politely told that PNP have a backlog of deliveries... Hello? We book a 4 hours SLOT. Does that not allow for a backlog.... You couldn't make this nonsense up, but it's quite likely that it could drive you insane!! No lie! Why are they dishing out this extraordinary, unprofessional customer service. I have a few choice words that I could have used to describe this whole online ordering experience... but I'm keeping it civil.
I do feel that I should be reimbursed my delivery fees that I've paid so far ... plus the cost of all the 0860 numbers I've had to call, simply to have them bring my order to my house. All I can say to PnPay, is SHAME on you, for treating your customers like this. SHAME on you.
